On Saturday May 10, 2014, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Eminence Justinian Archbishop of Naro-Fominsk preformed an Archpastoral Visit to St. George Church in Palmerton PA to congratulate parishioners with their Patronal Feastday which fell on May 6. His Eminence was co-served by Archpriest Basil Micek, Rector of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Scranton PA; Archpriest Michael Lepa, Interim Rector of St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes Barre PA; Archimandrite Zosimas (Shevchuk), cleric of the Vladimir Diocese, Russia; Archimandrite Viktor (Sayapin) cleric of the Diocese of Tiraspol and Dubbossary, Moldova; Priest Gregory Winsky, cleric of St. Michael Church, Philadelphia PA and clerics of St. Nicholas Cathedral in NYC, Abbot Nicodemus (Balyasnikov), Deacons Rodion Shamazov and Mark Rashkov.

The Divine Liturgy was sung by a choir under the direction of Archpriest Alexey Bocharnikov, Rector of St. Nicholas Church in Chester PA.

A number of believers came to lift up their prayers during the Divine Services and to greet their Archpastor.

In his sermon, Archbishop Justinian prayerfully remarked "how wonderful it was to celebrate the Divine Liturgy in this Holy Temple. Let us pray for all the living members as well those parishioners who have labored for this Holy Temple who fell asleep in the Lord."

All those gathered concluded the day with a festal picnic on the church grounds.
