On Thursday evening, August 27, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA led the All-Night Vigil for the Feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City. His Grace was co-served by cathedral clergy. 

During the singing of the Polyeleos, the Holy Shroud depicting the burial of the Holy Mother of God was placed in the center of the church.
