Registration for 2017 Diocesan Pastoral Conference is Open

Online registration for the 2017 Pastoral Conference for clergy and matushkas of the Eastern American Diocese and Patriarchal Parishes in the USA has opened. With the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, the conference will be held at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY this October 23-26, and is dedicated to the Decennial of the Reunification of the Russian Orthodox Church and the appearance of the myrrh-streaming Hawaiian Iveron Icon of the Mother of God.

When
October 23-26, 2017. Conference officially begins on Tuesday, October 24; Divine Liturgy at 6:00 AM. Monday, October 23 is designated as a travel day – Vespers & Matins at 4:00 PM, followed by dinner and Small Compline.

Cost
Registration cost is $125 per person and does not include lodging accommodations.

Who can attend
Clergy (deacons and priests) and matushkas of the Eastern American Diocese ROCOR and Patriarchal Parishes in the USA. All others, please contact diocesan office at (732) 961-1917 or eadiocese@gmail.com to inquire about attending the conference.

Airport
Those who wish to fly to Jordanville must fly to Albany International Airport (ALB) and send their flight information to Abbot Cyprian (Alexandrou) at cyprian@hts.edu in order to arrange for pick-up and drop-off.

Services
All clergy will concelebrate with His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, at Hierarchal Divine Liturgy in Holy Trinity Cathedral on Thursday, October 26 – the feast of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God. Clergy are asked to bring their own blue vestments. The conference will be held under the ægis of the Hawai’ian-Iveron Icon.

Speaker
The speakers at the pastoral conference are: Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Archimandrite Augustine (Nikitin), Archpriest Victor Potapov, Archpriest Alexander Belya, and Archpriest Vladislav Tsypin.
