On Saturday, January 31, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk led the Moleben for the Beginning of the Civil New Year after the Sunday All-Night Vigil in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City.

On Monday, December 19, the feast of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk led the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York City.

On Sunday, December 18, the 26th Sunday after Pentecost, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk celebrated the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral.

On Thursday, December 15, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, and representative of the Russian World People's Council to the United Nations, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk attended memorial services for the victims of the bombing in the Coptic church of Apostle Peter in Cairo on December 11. 

On Saturday December 10, the patronal feast day of the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City – the feast of the Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign," His Eminence Hilarion, Metropolitan of Eastern American & New York, led the divine services in the cathedral. 

On Sunday evening December 4, the Myrrh-Streaming Iveron Icon of the Holy Mother of God visited Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Passaic, New Jersey.
