Archbishop Justinian Performs Monastic Tonsure of a Bishop-Elect in Russia

On June 6, 2014, on the eve of the leavetaking of the Feast of the Acension of our Lord, in the church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope and Love (Vera, Nadezhda and Lubov); the Patriarchal Metochion of the Metropolitan District of the Russian Orthodox Church of Kazakhstan in Moscow; with the Blessing of Alexander, Metropolitan of Astana and Kazakhstan; His Eminence Archbishop Justinian of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, performed the monastic tonsure of Archpriest Viktor Mikheikina, Bishop Elect of the Diocese of Petropavlovsk and Bulaevsk. 

Archpriest Viktor was tonsured with the name Vladimir, in honor of St. Vladimir, Grand Prince of Kiev. Fr. Vladimir's Consecration will take place on the Great Feast of Pentecost, at the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra in Moscow this Sunday.
