The Feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul

On July 12 – the Holy Orthodox Church commemorates the memory of the Holy Glorious and all Laudable Apostles Peter and Paul. There are four parishes – and one chapel in the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA that celebrated their Patronal Feast.

At Sts. Peter and Paul Chapel in Baltimore MD, His Eminence Archbishop Justinian of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA celebrated the altar’s Patronal Feastday. The Sts. Peter and Paul Chapel lies on the church cemetery grounds belonging to Holy Trinity Church. His Eminence was co-served by parish rector Archpriest John Vass, parish cleric Deacon Michael Bishop, and clergy from St. Nicholas Cathedral accompanying His Eminence. At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy on Saturday morning, The wonderworking icon of St. Sergius of Radonezh and the icon of Sts. Peter and Fevronia were present for all Divine Services. His Eminence bestowed upon five couples joined in marriage for many years, within the parish with the Medal “For Love and Loyalty” -

                Kirill and Ekaterina Reshtilov (57years)

                Gregory and Nina Levis (44years)

                George and Daria Materivich (38years)

                Vadim and Elena Radchenko (33years)

At Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Passaic NJ, Parish Rector Priest Stephen Kaznica celebrated the Divine Liturgy along with Archpriest George Konyev (Chancellor – Rector of neighboring Three Saints Church, Garfield NJ), Hieromonk Stephen (Bushman) and Protodeacon Daniel Sudol (cleric of Three Saints Church, Garfield NJ).

Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Scranton PA, celebrated their Patronal Feastday with the Divine Liturgy celebrated by parish rector Archpriest Basil Micek and Archpriest Michael Lepa (ministering St. Nicholas Church in Wilkes-Barre, PA)
