A Collection of Holy Relics Visits Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Passaic, NJ

On Sunday October 5, 2014, the Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost, Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Passaic NJ hosted a visitation of 150 Holy Relics during the Divine Liturgy with the Blessing of His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk. The Relics' Caretaker, Archpriest Rafael Melendez (Cleric of the Albanian Diocese of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese in America) served the Divine Liturgy co-served by Cathedral Rector Priest Stephen Kaznica. The Divine Liturgy was adorned with the liturgical singing in Church Slavonic, English, Greek and Spanish. At the conclusion of the Liturgy an Akathist was served in honor of the Saints of the West, many of whose relics were present in the Cathedral. After the Divine Services a festal luncheon was served in the parish hall.
