On Saturday November 8, the feast of St. Demetrius of Thessalonica, clergy of the Eastern States Deanery of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA gathered at St. Nicholas Church, Bayonne NJ to celebrate the Divine Liturgy and to hold a scheduled deanery meeting.
The Divine Liturgy was co-served by:

The Divine Liturgy was sung by the parish choir under the direction of Matushka Ekaterina Kapchits. At the conclusion of the Liturgy, Archpriest Mikhail greeted his concelebrant Deacon Dmitry on his namesday and presented him with a prosphora. On behalf of the parish, he was also presented with a bouquet of flowers for his labors to St. Nicholas Church. Afterwards, all gathered proceeded to the parish's refectory for an abundant meal prepared by the parish.
At the conclusion of the meal, the above-mentioned clerics were joined by Archpriest Emil Minkovich, Rector of St. Peter and Paul Church, Elizabeth NJ and Archpriest John Kassatkin, Rector of Elevation of the Cross Church, Hackettstown NJ for an annual deanery meeting. The clergy discussed a wide range of topics pertaining to parish life and future endeavors to benefit the denaery and the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA.
