Clergy of the Central States Deanery Convene in Redford

On November 18-19, the clergy of the Central States Deanery of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA gathered to celebrate the Divine Liturgy and to hold an annual deanery meeting at St. Michael Church in Redford MI. Great Vespers and the Divine Liturgy were presided by Archpriest Roman Star, Dean.

Also participating in the Divine Services was:

-Archpriest Timothy Barna, Parish Rector

-Archpriest Paul Waters, Rector of Holy Dormition Church, Benld IL

-Archpriest Lawrence Bacik, Rector of St. Elias Church, Battle Creek MI

- Priest Daneil Shirak, Cleric of St. Innocent Church, Redford MI

- Priest James Anthony, Rector of St. John Chrysostom Church, Grand Rapids MI

- Deacon Vasily Gross, Cleric of St. Andrew Church, East Lansing MI 

Also praying in the church was Archimandrite Illya (Barna), Rector Emeritus of St. Michael Church.

 

After the Divine Liturgy, the clergy proceeded to hold their deanery meeting in which a number of issues pertaining to parish life and future endeavors within the deanery were discussed.
