On Sunday, January 25, the Sunday after Theophany, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk celebrated the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in San Francisco, CA. His Grace was co-served by the parish rector, Priest Leonid Kazakov, Abbot Nicodemus (Balyasnikov, Secretary to the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes) and Deacon Andrei Garin, Cleric of the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of all who Sorrow", San Francisco, CA (ROCOR).

The Divine Liturgy was sung by a combined choir of St. Nicholas Cathedral and the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of all who Sorrow" under the direction of Serge Kotar.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop John greeted the faithful and delivered a sermon on the day's appointed Gospel reading. Vladyka then welcomed His Eminence Archbishop Kirill of San Francisco and Western America (ROCOR). Bishop John then gifted Archbishop Kirill with a malachite prayer rope. Archbishop Kirill then presented Bishop John with a piece of the relics of his monastic heavenly protector - St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco.

Later in the day, Bishop John celebrated a Moleben before the Relics of St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco.
