On August 1-2, the parish of St. Andrew Cathedral in Philadelphia, PA honored the 30th anniversary of Archpriest Mark Shin serving as rector.
On Sunday August 2, the parish gathered for the official celebration of their rector's milestone. The Sunday Divine Liturgy was served by Archpriest Mark Shin, parish rector; Archpriest Alexander Golubov, cleric of St Nicholas Cathedral, NYC; and parish clerics, Priests Alexander Tysgankov and Eugene Solodky. After Divine Liturgy, the sisterhood prepared a bountiful luncheon for all present. Congratulatory messages were read, including that from His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA. One parishioner then presented Fr. Mark with a painted portrait of him and his matushka in honor of the occasion.
