Bishop John Attends Celebrations Honoring St. Vladimir of Kiev in Crestwood, NY

On Sunday November 1st, at the invitation of His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon of all America and Canada, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk participated in the celebrations commemorating the 1000th Anniversary of Repose of St. Grand Prince Vladimir of Kiev in St. Vladimir's Seminary in Crestwood, NY. Metropolitan Tikhon presided at the Divine Liturgy co-served by Bishop John and Bishop Alexander of Toledo, Administrator of the OCA's Bulgarian Diocese as well as Seminary Chancellor Archpriest Chad Hatfield and clergy studying at the seminary. 

After Holy Communion, Metropolitan Tikhon, the hierarchs and clergy sang the Magnification before the relics of the Baptizer of Rus' and the heavenly protector of the seminary. 

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Tikhon thanked Bishop John for his presence and prayers during the Divine Liturgy as the representative of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia in the United States.
