On December 2, 1990, Archpriest George Konyev was ordained to the Holy Priesthood by His Eminence Metropolitan John of Leningrad and Ladoga in the St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral in present day St. Petersburg, Russia. 

On his 25th anniversary, the feast of St. Philaret, Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomna(1867), the Chancellor of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Three Saints Church in Garfield, NJ. At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy parishioners and guests warmly congratulated their pastor with his jubilee.
