On Saturday December 19, the feast of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker; His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA led the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral, NYC on the occasion of its patronal feast day.
Before the start of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop John tonsured Alexander Shtarev, altar server of St. Nicholas Church in Chester, PA, a reader.
His Grace was co-served at the Divine Liturgy by:

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the clergy served a short moleben before the icon of St. Nicholas. Bishop John then congratulated Fr. Nikolai Babijtchouk and the parishioners of St. Nicholas Cathedral on the feast of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.
