On Sunday, July 23, the Ninth Sunday after Pentecost, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk led the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City. His Grace was co-served by cathedral clergy as well as visiting clergy from the Tikhvin Diocese of the Saint Petersburg Mitropolia, Priest Gennady Titov and Protodeacon Georgy Stefanov. 

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, Bishop John delivered a sermon on the theme of the appointed Gospel reading. Vladyka also presented the guest clergy with an icon of the heavenly protectors of New York City.
