St. John Chrysostom Church Celebrates Patronal Feastday

On Sunday, November 26 the feast of the St. John Chrysostom, the clergy and parishioners of St. John Chrysostom Church in Grand Rapids, MI celebrated its patronal feastday. The All-Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy was led by Dean of the Central States, Archpriest Roman Star; parish rector Priest James Anthony; Priest Christopher Rozdilski, rector of St. Andrew the First-Called Church in East Lansing, MI and Priest Daneil Shirak, cleric of St. Innocent Church in Redford, MI. A multitude of parishioners partook of the Holy Mysteries during the Divine Liturgy. Afterwards, a cross-procession was held around the church grounds. Following the procession, a festal meal was held in the parish hall during which parishioners and guests were treated to a showcase of musical talents by the adults and children of the parish under the direction of Choir Director Catherine Beukema.
