On Great and Holy Thursday Bishop John Celebrates Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral

On April 5, Great and Holy Thursday, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of John of Naro-Fominsk celebrated Matins, Vespers and Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City. His Grace was co-served by the Chancellor of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, Archpriest Igor Tarasov and clerics of the cathedral. 

During the Little Entrance, with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, and for his dedicated service to the Holy Church, before the feast of Holy Pascha, Fr. Igor was awarded the right to wear the palitsa and jeweled cross. Cleric of the cathedral, Priest Dmitrii Schieffler was awarded the right to wear the kamilavka. 

At the conclusion of the liturgy, Bishop John congratulated all those who partook of the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
