On Sunday, June 3, St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York hosted a graduation celebration for students of the parish school. The school has been operational for seven years. The festivities began with common prayer of teachers, children and their parents during the Divine Liturgy.
Following the Liturgy, a number of teachers and school assistants were awarded with the Archpastoral Gramotas. Anna Teper, the principal of the school, addressed the parishioners and thanked all those who took part in the life of the school. Afterward, a festive program began in the classroom. In his welcoming remarks, cathedral cleric Archpriest Alexander Golubov, noted the works of teachers and founders of the parish school who joyfully celebrated the successes of the young pupils. To commemorate the end of the school year, students were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts.
