From May 1-4, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, the rector of Holy Protection Church in Mexico, Priest Kirill Chacon arrived in NY. During his stay, Fr. Kirill served at the divine services in the patriarchal cathedral. During his meeting with Bishop John, Fr. Kirill relayed plans for the ongoing restoration work of the only parish of the Moscow Patriarchate in Mexico which was severely damaged by an earthquake in September of 2017. At the conclusion of the meeting, Bishop John presented the rector with sum of donations collected throughout the Patriarchal Parishes for the faithful in Mexico.
