On Sunday, June 17, the Third Sunday after Pentecost, Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA celebrated Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City. His Grace was co-served by cathedral clergy, as well as rector of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Philadelphia, PA, Priest Gregory Winsky.

After the Eucharistic Canon, Bishop John ordained Subdeacon Michael Ardan to the Holy Diaconate. Fr. Michael will fulfill his service in St. Michael Church. 

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, Bishop John addressed the parishioners with a sermon. He also congratulated the newly-ordained cleric of the Patriarchal Parishes, and wished him fortitude in his ministry.
