Following the devastating earthquake in Mexico in September 2017, the clergy and parishioners of Holy Protection Church began restoring their temple. With the blessing of Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, collections were taken in support of the parish in Mexico. The funds were recently transferred to the rector of the parish, Priest Kirill Chacon. 

Fr. Kirill and the parishioners of the parish express their gratitude to their brothers and sisters for their love and support.
