On Sunday, September 30, the 18th Sunday after Pentecost, Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, celebrated Divine Liturgy in St. Catherine’s Church in Rome, Italy.
His Grace was co-served by dean Hieromonk Ambrose, and Priest Alexy. At the conlcusion of the service, Bishop John, together with clergy and parishioners venerated the Cross of our Lord.
Afterwards, Bishop John addressed the believers with a sermon. In turn Fr. Ambrose cordially greeted Bishop John on behalf of the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in Italy, Archbishop Anthony of Vienna and Budapest, and also on behalf of the entire St. Catherine’s community. Later, Bishop John met with parishioners and spoke about the life of the Russian Orthodox Church in America and answered numerous questions from them.
