On Tuesday evening, December 18, the eve of the feast of the Holy Wonderworker Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra and Lycia, the interim Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served the All-night Vigil in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City. His Grace was co-served by Priest Dmitry Nedostupenko (secretary of the Sourozh Diocese) and clerics of the cathedral. At the conclusion of the service, Bishop Matthew addressed the faithful with a sermon.
Following the All-night Vigil, the facade of the cathedral was adorned in traditional Christmastide decorations in preparation of the feast of the Nativity of Christ.
