Bishop Matthew celebrates Divine Liturgy on feast of Elevation of the Holy Cross
On Friday, September 27, the feast of the Universal Elevation of the Holy and Life-giving Cross of the Lord, His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Interim Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA & Canada, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the New York Cathedral, co-served by Cathedral clergy.
After the Holy Communion, the clergy and believers venerated the Cross, after which Bishop Matthew addressed the faithful with a sermon.
