On Saturday, February 8, the clergy of the Eastern States Deanery celebrated Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Church in Bayonne, NJ. The service was led by parish rector Archpriest Mikhail Kapchits, co-served by dean Priest Aleksey Paranyuk, Priest Stephen Kaznica (cleric of Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral in Passaic, NJ), Priest Andrew Massey (rector of Elevation of the Holy Cross Church in Hackettstown, NJ) and Priest Dimitry Sukhorukov (parish cleric). Praying in the church was Archpriest Emil Minkovich (rector of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Elizabeth, NJ).

Following the Liturgy, a luncheon was served in the church hall.

After lunch the clergy of the deanery gathered for a meeting to discuss pastoral and administrative issues facing the parishes.
