On Wednesday, May 6, on the feast of St. George the Great Martyr, eponymous church parish Rector, Archpriest Igor Tarasov performed an automobile procession around the area of Bayside and Flushing. He was accompanied by Warden, Olga Roussanow and Sacristan, Andrew Malyshev. 

Stops were made at the four edges of the neighborhood and a short moleben for the cessation of the death-bearing pestilence was performed at each stop. Fr. Igor also blessed the surroundings with the icon of the patron saint.
