St. Innocent of Irkutsk Parish Celebrates Patronal Feast

On November 26, St. Innocent of Irkutsk parish joyfully celebrated their Patronal Feast day with the Divine Liturgy. Parish Rector, Priest Joshua Genig, was co-served by the parish’s clergy: Hierodeacon Seraphim (Balagtas) and Rector Emeritus, Archpriest Roman Star.

During the Divine Liturgy, the departed clergy, founders, and benefactors were prayerfully commemorated in the Litany of the Departed. Prayers for an end to this deadly pandemic were also offered during the Litany of Fervent Supplication.

Though this has been a unique year, the clergy and parishioners rejoice in the many gifts God has bestowed upon them, not least of which were the arrival of the relic of St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco and the continued growth in spiritual maturity experienced by all!
