After many months of work on the exterior and interior of the temple – replacing the roof, HVAC systems – three new front cupolas adorning the façade of the cathedral were sanctified during a short moleben. Leading the service was parish rector, Archpriest Mark Shin co-served by local clergy:
- Archpriest Serge Lukianov (rector of St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, NJ)
- Archpriest Ljubo Milosevic (rector of Holy Trinity Church in Vineland, NJ)
- Archpriest Luka Novakovic (rector of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Philadelphia, PA)
- Archpriest Alexey Bocharnikov (rector of St. Nicholas Church in Chester, PA)
- Archpriest Alexander Tsygankov (parish cleric)
- Priest Gregory Winsky (cleric of Holy Trinity Church in Baltimore, MD)
- Priest Valery Sukholubov (rector of Joy of all who Sorrow Church in Philadelphia, PA)
At the conclusion of the service, Fr. Alexander Tsygankov was hoisted in the air by crane to bless the newly-installed cupolas. Fr. Mark then thanked all those gathered for their prayers and labors in the project. Those that wish to donate to the renovation project can do so on the parish website.
