St. Gregory the Theologian Church celebrates Patronal Feast in Renovated Temple

On Monday, February 7, the clergy and parishioners of St. Gregory the Theologian Church celebrated their patronal feast day. The festal All-Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy were served by parish rector Archpriest Andrei Kovalev co-served by Archimandrite Stefan (Khilchuk; rector of Our Lady of Pochaev Church in North Port, FL), Abbot Arkady Migunov (rector of Holy Annunciation OCA Church in Jacksonville, FL) and Hiermonk Arkady (Polischuk; cleric of Our Lady of Pochaev Church).

This was the first patronal feast celebrated in the original parish building which was severly damaged during a hurriance in the early 2000's which left the building unsuitable to hold services in. For years divine services were held in the adjacent parish hall. Under the leadership of Fr. Andrei, parishioners began restoring the original church building to a new splendor.
