Bishop Matthew of Sourozh served Vigil in Kazan Metochion Skete

On December 7, 2024, on the eve of the 24th Sunday after Pentecost, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Interim Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada, visited the Kazan Metochion Skete in Spokane, Washington, where a female monastic community is cared for.

Co-served by the rector of the metochion, Hieromonk Tikhon (Pashkov), the archpastor served the all-night vigil, after which he spoke with the inhabitants of the skete. In memory of the service and visit to the monastery, the archpastor presented the nuns with comemorative gifts.
