Eastern States Deanery Clergy Convene
On Saturday February 8, the clergy of the Eastern States Deanery celebrated Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Church in Bayonne, NJ. The Divine Liturgy was led by the Dean of the Eastern States Parishes, Archpriest Michael Kapchits.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Fr. Michael welcomed the gathered clergy and laity with a sermon.
Afterwards, a meal was served in the church hall for the clergy, their families, and the parishioners of the church. After the meal, Fr. Michael convened the deanery meeting to discuss the pastoral and administrative issues facing the parishes.
