On eve of Annunciation & 100th anniversary of repose of St. Tikhon, Bishop Matthew officiates All-Night Vigil in St. Nicholas Cathedral

On April 6, 2025, the eve of the feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos and the day of repose of St. Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow (1925), Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Interim Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA & Canada, officiated the All-Night Vigil in St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York City.

His Grace was concelebrated by cathedral rector, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov, Vice-Chancellor of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, Priest Mark Rashkov, dean of the Central States, Priest Joshua Genig, Priest Anthony Kurakevich, and cathedral clergy.

The liturgical hymns were sung by the hierarchal choir under the direction of Ksenia Afanasyeva & Alla Kerko. After reading the Gospel, the archpastor, the co-serving clergy and the faithful venerated the icon of the feast and the reliquary containing a particle of the holy relics of Saint Tikhon.
