On eve of the patronal feast of St. Nicholas Cathedral, Bishop Matthew officiated the All-Night Vigil
On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the eve of the feast day of the transfer of the relics of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker from Myra in Lycia to Bar, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, Interim Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA & Canada, officiated the All-Night Vigil in St. Nicholas Patriarchal Cathedral in New York City.
The archpastor was co-served by cathedral rector, Archpriest Igor Vyzhanov, acting Chancellor of the Patriarchal Parishes, Abbot Nicodemus (Balyasnikov), head of the Pilgrimage Department and rector of the Church of St. Gregory the Theologian in Tampa, FL, Archpriest Andrei Kovalev, and cathedral clergy.
