On May 29, 2025, the Great Feast of the Ascension of our Lord, Archpriest Timothy Barna (rector of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Redford, MI) celebrated the 45th anniversary of his ordination to the holy priesthood.

In solemn celebration of the feast and this momentous occasion, dean of the Central States, Priest Joshua Genig, concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with Fr. Timothy, together with Deacon David Rehn (cleric of the OCA). Joining the faithful of St. Michael’s were many of the faithful from nearby St. Innocent of Irkutsk Church. 

Following Holy Communion, Fr. Joshua offered a brief word of congratulations to Fr. Timothy and Matushka Sherry, offering small tokens of appreciation to them both. Fr. Timothy also thanked those present for their prayers and faithfulness through the years of his priesthood and, particularly, for their love shown on this day.

May God grant many years to Fr. Timothy!
