On May 19, 2026, Bishop Matthew of Sourozh—Interim Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA and Canada—held a traditional youth gathering following the evening divine service. The meeting took place in the parish hall of St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City.

The event, conducted in the format of a festive tea reception, was attended by numerous parishioners as well as guests of the parish. His Grace answered questions from those present.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Bishop Matthew once again expressed his gratitude to the clergy and parishioners of the cathedral for their warm welcome and kind wishes on the occasion of his 55th birthday.

Next Tuesday—May 26, 2026—His Grace will also preside over a youth gathering prior to his departure for London.
