On September 30, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, a meeting was held between the administrators of the parish school of St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City and the administrators of the parish school of Holy Protection Church in Nyack, NY.

During the months of August and September, the parish community of St. Innocent of Irkutsk Church in Redford, MI has been quite festive with a number of celebrations much to the joy of its parishioners. 

On Tuesday, September 27, the feast of the Universal Exaltation of the Holy and Life-Giving Cross, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk presided at the All-Night Vigil and Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City.

On September 19, a strong earthquake of a 7.1 magnitude struck the nation of Mexico killing more than 300 people, injuring thousands, toppling homes with many others on the verge of collapse. One major casuality of this earthquake is the single parish directly under the jurisdiction of the Moscow Patriarchate in the nation - the parish of the Protection of the Mother of God in a suburb of the capital.

On Saturday, September 23, the feast of St. Sergius of Radonezh (according to the New Calendar), the Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon of all America and Canada led the patronal feastday services of the house chapel at the administrative center of the OCA. 

On Sunday, September 24, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk led the Divine Liturgy for the Sunday before the Elevation of the Cross in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City.

On Thursday, September 21, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk led the festal Divine services for the feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City. 

On Sunday, September 17, the 15th Sunday after Pentecost and the feast of the Uncovering of the relics of Sts. Peter and Febronia of Murom, the Administrator of the Patriarchal Parishes in the USA, His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fomisnk led the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City. 

With the blessing of His Grace Bishop John of Naro-Fominsk, weekly lessons for individuals who would like to learn english as a second language are now being taught in St. Nicholas Cathedral in New York City. 

Online registration for the 2017 Pastoral Conference for clergy and matushkas of the Eastern American Diocese and Patriarchal Parishes in the USA has opened. With the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion, the conference will be held at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY this October 23-26.
